The album is a powerful and truthful projection of life through a nineteen-year old adolescent’s eyes. It draws on the number nine which has inhabited the artist’s subconscious since his birth, translating itself into an introspective narration and interpretation of life in its purest musical form. In an interview with Liam Kreutz Feux talks about his true aspirations and honest vision behind his music. He says; “ People need a voice, they need reassurance and they need someone else to say it sometimes for it to click in their head, someone to listen to and to follow. And it’s not necessarily my goal to be that person but I want to contribute to raising awareness and consciousness about today’s most pressing issues, I want my music to trigger questions, that’s what I’m striving for.” ‘Pure Nine’ is the driving force and totem of the Nine-track project. Feux is Pure Nine.
